Fast Presentations
FreeA skill that turns your subject into a finished, designed deck, no slide-by-slide dragging.
Time to complete: ~55 minutes
You'll need a desktop or laptop to actually do this use case. Browse now, do it there.
The problem
It's the night before you present, and the deck is still a pile of notes and a blinking cursor on slide 1.
- Which parts matter enough for a slide, and which are noise?
- How do I get a designed deck without a designer?
- Do I read everything first, or start dragging boxes and hope?
- Why does every AI-made deck look the same?
By hand it's 2 to 3 hours for ten slides, and what you present is usually the first version that didn't look broken. There's a faster way.
What you get
- Your first deck, built by hand from your own real subject, the one you'll actually present
- A working
fast-presentationsskill: name your subject or point it at your own materials, and a real, designed.pptxdeck builds itself with one command - My pro
ai-store-fast-presentationsskill from the library, which also writes your speaker notes and a word-for-word 30-second opener
Who this is for
- Anyone who has to turn a report, meeting notes, or a project update into a deck before a client call or a team meeting
- Anyone presenting on a subject they need to research first, without days to read the field
- People who've watched an AI-made slide deck come out looking like every other AI-made slide deck
- Non-technical professionals who don't have a designer on call and don't want to become one
You need: the free Start Here card completed, and about 55 minutes.
FAQ
- Do I need Claude Code for this? Yes, this skill runs on it. The free Start Here card sets it up in about 45 minutes.
- Do I need to already have materials? No, you choose. Point it at a file you already have (a report, meeting notes, a project doc), or just name your subject and it researches it for you and pulls the real numbers.
- What format is the finished deck? A real `.pptx` file. Open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides like any deck you'd build by hand.
- Will it look like every other AI-generated deck? No, that's the actual problem this card solves. The tool bakes in a real design bar (varied layouts, real color palettes, no default blue, no walls of bullet text) and checks its own work before showing you anything.
- Can I change the design later? Yes, in plain words. Tell it "try a different palette" or "cut this to 6 slides" and it rebuilds.
About the creator
I'm Anastasia, a business analyst who builds with AI every day. I build my own decks with this exact tool: my last one went from raw research notes to a finished, checked file in about 40 minutes, including the two layout bugs the self-check caught.
