FAQ
  • Do I need Claude Code? Yes, the scout runs on it. No Claude Code yet? The free Start Here card gets you set up in about 45 minutes.
  • Does it apply to jobs for me? No, and on purpose. It finds and ranks the openings worth your time and keeps your pipeline; you stay the one who decides where to apply.
  • My alerts arrive in Outlook, not Gmail. Does this still work? Yes. The lessons teach Gmail as the example, and the same kind of connection exists for most email providers: tell Claude Code which app your alerts land in, and the steps are the same.
  • Do I have to do the browser-extension lesson? No, the scout already works through alerts and web search without it. But it is the best moment of the card: your own browser searching LinkedIn while you watch. Skip it only if you don't use Chrome.
  • My CV is out of date. Is that a problem? No. Bring what you have: the interview reads it, asks about what changed, and you decide together what the scout should score against. You can re-run the interview anytime the CV updates.
  • Do I have to use Obsidian for the board? No. The board lesson has two equal paths, and you pick one: Obsidian (plain files you own) or a Google Sheet in your own account. Claude Code builds either for you, and prefer Notion? The same steps work there too.
  • What format are the files? Plain files (.md) plus one small Obsidian table file, or a normal Google Sheet if you pick that path. Every job stays something you can open, search, and edit anywhere.
  • What if it doesn't fit my case? Tell me, refund, no form.
